The purpose of this site is to offer information on the Sullivan Entertainment Productions of Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel and Road to Avonlea. It was originally hosted by Yahoo! Geocities. I decided in mid 2005 that I wanted to expand the site, and create a more useful resource tool. This inspiration came from An L.M.Montgomery Resource Page at TickledOrange.com created by Valancy of the Avonlea Message Board. Hopefully this site will compliment Val's site.

This site is optimized for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

This site was created using a combination of methods. Some of the pages were originally created using Yahoo! Geocities PageBuilder, and then source code was copied and then modified with hand written HTML. Most pages were created using only hand written HTML. It wasn't until mid 2006 that I discovered the power of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and began incorporating them into the layout. At that time I also "upgraded" the look to match the look of the forum.

The dynamic menu's were created using xFX JumpStart's DMB Menu Builder.

All images were taken by myself, except those noted as such (including all of the gallery images). The majority of the images were taken with a 35mm SLR camera. The negs were then transferred to disc by Wal-Mart 1-Hour photo.

I'd like to thank everyone at the Avonlea Message Board that has helped me learn HTML & CSS.

I'd like to thank Dan Matthews at Sullivan Entertainment for his "inside" information on film sites. Dan was the Production Assistant and Location Manager for Road to Avonlea and has graciously allowed me to pick at his brain.

The name Avonlea Treasures was suggested by my wife, Erin. Thank you Erin.
