This is where we see Mathew looking in the window at the dress with puffed sleeves. 1850 Woodbridge – By the mid 19th-century, tin plate was cheap and plentiful and a skilled tinsmith could produce a variety of useful and inexpensive house wares. Upstairs is a typical early Ontario Masonic Lodge, restored, furnished and staffed by the Masons of Ontario.
Burwick HouseBurwick House and Stable This house was depicted as Jasper Dales house in the Road to Avonlea episode The Blue Chest of Arabella King. The back entrance was where Mathew and the doctor enter Diana's house when Minnie May is sick in Anne of Green Gables. 1844 Woodbridge (formerly Burwick) and c.1860 Woodbridge – The dwelling of a country gentleman is complete with fine furnishings made in Upper Canada, and a selection of imports from Britain and the United States, fine china, wallpaper, draperies and stoves. A substantial stable and carriage shed, and a landscaped yard with flower gardens add to the signs of economic success and reflect a gracious way of living.
Print OfficeBlack Creek Printing Office This small building served as the set for The Avonlea Chronicle office in the Road to Avonlea episode The Blue Chest of Arabella King. 1850 Kettleby – Built as a Temperance Hall, this building enjoys a second life as an 1860's printing office and weaver's shop.
