The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville & Gormley, Ontario

Gormley is the location of the famous "Bridge" in Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel. It is located at 3967 Stouffville Rd. When travelling East, it would be just after the intersection of Kennedy Road (York Route 3), on the South side of Stouffville Road. The bridge is on private property, but the owners don't mind visitors. The bridge that is currently there is not the original. The original bridge was in poor condition and had been replaced, but the new bridge is identical to the old one.

This area is also where Diana Barry's house is located. The house is located at the entrance to Bruce's Mill Conservation Area, between York Route 65 and Kennedy Road (York Route 3). You have to proceed down the entrance road to Bruce's Mill in order to see the house. Once you get to the main entry of the Conservation Area, the house is on the right.

This same house was used as the Manse in the Road to Avonlea episodes Enter Prince Charming and The Minister's Wife. It is a private residence.
