Episode 1 — The Journey Begins

When Nanny Louisa is introducing herself to Olivia, a large bug flies through the scene.

After Sara reads the letter from her Poppa in the barn, and she and Olivia head back to Rose Cottage from the barn, we can see the King Farmhouse and the schoolhouse in the background. The barn is actually beyond the farmhouse. Logically, they would not have been walking to Rose Cottage as they did in the episode.

Episode 2 — The Story Girl Earns Her Name

In the scene where Hetty is talking about raising money for the Library Fund, Jane Spry is sitting at the front of the class in a white dress. When Felix is mocking Hetty, Jane is sitting next to him in a green dress. A moment later, you see Jane Spry back at the head of the class and in the white dress, with Andrew King sitting where Jane was just a moment ago.

Power lines are visible when the children are on their way to the magic lantern show and approach Clemmie.

The covered bridge is missing in the scene where we see Mr. Beatty driving off with the proceeds from the magic lantern show. Later in the episode, we see the bridge. Also, in this episode, the bridge is painted white. In all other episodes it is red.
Episode 5 — Old Lady Lloyd

Blooper Power lines are visible when the King family drives by the gate of Old Lady Lloyd's house.
Blooper When Sara, Olivia and Sylvia are driving to Margarett Lloyd's, you can see a car driving by in the background.
Blooper When Olivia, Sylvia and Sara are entering Andrew Cameron's house, you can see a modern car in the background, just over their right shoulders.
Episode 6 — The Proof of the Pudding

When Felix is stealing Felicity's cookies, you can see that the siding on the house is vinyl siding. You can see this throughout the episode.

Episode 14 — Sara's Homecoming

After being kidnapped, Sara drops her shoe out of the bottom of the wagon. Later on when she's escaping, she has both shoes on.

Episode 16 — Aunt Hetty's Ordeal

In the closing scene where we see the White Sands, you can see the PEI Provincial flag flying. The PEI Provincial flag was not adopted until 1964.

Episode 17 — Of Corsets & Secrets & True, True Love

When Sara and Olivia find the locket of hair in Rachel's chest, the hair is tied together with modern plastic curling ribbon.

Episode 57 — Strictly Melodrama

This episode takes place in winter. Several scenes are shown of the Markdale Town Hall with snow outside, but when the scenes that were shot inside are near a window, the view outside the window is missing the snow.

Episodes 61 & 68 — Thursday's Child & Christmas in June

In Thursday's Child, the brochure that Janet has in her hands while talking to Dr. Jones says Thornwell Sanitorium. The sign on the stone column of the Sanitorium says Thornwell. In the episode Christmas in June, the gate says Thornhill, not Thornwell. Also, a different building portrayed the sanitorium in each episode. An amusing side note here: The building that is the Sanitorium in Thursday's Child is the building where Gus's ship Captain lives in The Return of Gus Pike.

Episode 66 — The Return of Gus Pike

In the scene where Daniel says "The woman is gone", referring to Eliza Pike leaving, you can see that Daniel's mouth doesn't even move when the words are spoken.

Episode 70 — Comings and Goings

In the first several scenes at the railways station, it is clearly Summer or very early fall, as the leaves are all green. This can be seen behind the train car through its windows as well as when passengers get off. When Sarah Stanley is shown for the first time, you can clearly see in the background that it is Autumn. Most of the leaves are off the trees, and those that are still on are of vibrant fall colours.
